Answer
There are several options for accessing your NWTC email account:
- Log in to your Student Portal (My.NWTC) and click the Email button in the upper right of your account. When asked to login to email, use your NWTC ID# and password (not your mymail email address). You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identify. (Watch our short student portal login and secure video).
- Go to outlook.office.com or download the Microsoft Outlook mobile app to your phone or the Outlook desktop app to your laptop or desktop computer. When asked to login to email, use your NWTC ID#@nwtc.edu and password (not your mymail email address). You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identify. If you need to reset your NWTC password, go to My.NWTC and click "Forgot Password or ID?" Here are detailed instructions on resetting your password.
Your student email is typically: firstname.lastname@mymail.nwtc.edu.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Periodically, you will be asked to verify your identity a second way. If that happens, click Next.

If you already set up your security method, you may get a security code sent to your phone or receive a notification from the Microsoft Authenticator app after you click Next.

If you have not secured your NWTC account yet, choose how you want to be notified and click Set up to start the process. Learn more about multi-factor authentication. If you do not have the technology needed, contact the NWTC Student Help Desk at 920-498-6900 for support.
