Answer

Courses in Canvas should be visible to students 24 hours before the start date of the course.  However, some instructors will modify the availability date and publish the course earlier.

If your course should be visible but you are not seeing it on your dashboard, you should first click on Courses to look at your full list of Canvas courses (in case only your favorited courses are showing).

If the course is not on your Courses list, then you will want to double-check the start date of the course.  You can login to your My.NWTC student portal and go to the Academics tab to view your class schedule.  

If the course has already started and you cannot see it, please reach out to your instructor or the Student Help Desk.
