The NWTC Library still has about 100 No-Cost Techquity laptops from the United Way to distribute to students in need! If you meet the following criteria, please apply for a laptop through the United Way site (choose NWTC as the event so we see your application). Or come to the NWTC Library during library hours and ask to apply in person while supplies last!
Criteria for Techquity Laptops

No working personal computer/tablet (if your family has a device but you cannot use it for homework, you qualify).

Low-income (belonging to a household that meets either of the income levels below)

At or below 200% of the federal poverty level (1 person=$31,300, 2 people=$42,300, 3 people=$53,300, 4 people=$64,300, 5 people=$75,300, 6 people=$86,300, add $11,000 for each additional person)

ALICE households - Single adult ($30,024), 1 adult/1 child ($45,096), 1 adult/1 in child care ($54,540), 2 adults ($43,046), 2 adults/2 children ($73,080), 2 adults/2 in child care ($93,636)
- Currently taking NWTC classes (This is the criteria for picking up from the NWTC event, but is not a requirement if you pick up from another United Way event).
The NWTC Library will review your application and reach out about pickup at the Green Bay campus during Library hours (while supplies last).
As a reminder, NWTC students who are not low-income but do not have computers at home or holds on their NWTC accounts can also apply to borrow laptops from the Library for 8-week sessions. See the application instructions.
