NWTC now has licenses to Padlet Backpack! There are 8 types of Padlet boards you can create: a wall, stream, grid, shelf, backchannel, map, canvas, and timeline.
First Time Users
Set up your NWTC Padlet Backpack account.
- Click the "Continue with Microsoft" button.
- You will be prompted to enter your NWTC College email as [NWTC ID]@nwtc.edu and your password.
- You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity.
- Once Padlet has identified who you are, edit your name if you wish and select “Let’s go”.
Returning Visits
- Bookmark the page: NWTC Padlet Backpack account for quick access for logging in.

- Logging in from https://padlet.com/ site: Use the "Backpack or Briefcase user? Log in here" Button
It is located below the sign-in area and looks like this:
- In the domain section type in "NWTC" then click the "Continue" button.
- Enter your NWTC credentials (ID number@nwtc.edu and your password)
- You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity.
NOTE: Padlet Backpack is currently grant-funded through September 2023. Export any boards you wish to keep after this date.
