- Free, unlimited access to more than 20,000 video courses
- Accessibility from any desktop or mobile device, on or off campus.
- Sharable multimedia collections (playlists)
- Personalized course recommendations
- A mobile app with off-line video access
- A chatbot that provides you with advice/feedback or videos for learning professional skills.
First Time Users
Set up your NWTC LinkedIn Learning account.
- You may be prompted to enter your NWTC College email as [NWTC ID]@nwtc.edu and your password; for example, 12345678@nwtc.edu. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity.
- Step through the form to create your NWTC College LinkedIn Learning account.
Choose to connect your NWTC LinkedIn Learning account to your personal LinkedIn.com profile (or create one if you do not have one).
- If you plan to use the LinkedIn Learning mobile app, you need to link your NWTC LinkedIn Learning account to your personal LinkedIn.com profile (so when you log in to the app with your personal email account, it will know you are an NWTC user.)
- It is also recommended to link your accounts so you will have the option to add certificates you earn as skills on your profile for potential employers to view.
- You are not required to connect a personal LinkedIn profile account to use NWTC's LinkedIn Learning. You can choose to 'Continue without connecting my LinkedIn account'. You can always change your mind and connect later (by clicking Me, Signing Out, and then logging back in using your personal LinkedIn profile username and password).
Returning Visits
- If you linked your personal LinkedIn.com profile, you can log in either at LinkedIn Learning or at LinkedIn.com using your personal LinkedIn username and password. If you forgot your LinkedIn password, you can choose "Get one-time sign in link" from the password page to receive an email with a link directly to your account.
-
If you did not link your account, log in using this link: LinkedIn Learning and your NWTC credentials. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity.
Mobile App
LinkedIn Learning offers mobile apps for iOS and Android phones and tablets. You can stream or download courses for offline viewing.
First, make sure that your NWTC LinkedIn Learning account is linked to your personal LinkedIn profile. You will be logging into the app with your personal email and password that you used for your LinkedIn profile. Then it will notice that your profile is attached to NWTC's LinkedIn Learning and may ask you to enter your NWTC credentials (ID number@nwtc.edu and your password).
- iOS: App Store
