Answer

The official MLA Handbook does not include instructions on how to format a PowerPoint presentation; however, many college libraries recommend the following:

  • Title slide: Include the same information you would on the top of the first page of an MLA paper (title, your name, instructor name, course name, date).
  • Include in-text citations for any quote, paraphrase, image, etc., that you use within your presentation. See the Tables and Illustrations section of the MLA Style Center for details on formatting figures (including images, pictures, photographs, etc.)
  • The last slide will be your Works Cited list.
