Answer

You may find that you need to create an e-portfolio for a state credential or job-hunting. An e-portfolio can give you the opportunity to showcase your work such as projects you completed while in school, during an internship, or in the workplace. There are many different options for creating an e-portfolio.

In NWTC's Canvas system, you have access to Portfolium. This is a free digital portfolio tool used to visually showcase academic and professional accomplishments and experiences. It is also a unique personal branding tool, which integrates a professional profile with social media and job-seeking features. The platform makes it very easy to search for and apply for jobs, and share work with friends, colleagues, and the very employers you want to work for!

Watch this short training video or access this Canvas course to go through how to:

  • Customize your Portfolium profile and ePortfolio
  • Add projects to your ePortfolio
  • Find and connect with other users, projects, jobs, and networks
  • Share your ePortfolio
  • Access Portfolium Support
