Library staff will contact students a few weeks before their session laptops or semester laptops are due in August, October, December, and March if they are eligible for renewal based on enrollment in the next term and no holds on their account. If students are not eligible for renewal, they will be contacted to encourage them to clear holds or sign up for classes. If they make those changes, they can contact the Library about renewing or can apply for a new laptop during the next session.
Laptops cannot be renewed in May since all laptops must be returned at the end of the academic year for maintenance and damage assessment.
If you have a short-term checkout laptop (2-week checkout period), you can renew it two times if needed by contacting the Library Staff.
