Save a PowerPoint file as a Word Document

  1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
  2. Click the File tab from the top menu.
  3. Click Export from the left-hand menu.
  4. Click Create Handouts.

  1. The Send to Microsoft Word dialog box will open.

  1. Choose a page layout from the options. This will determine how the slides appear in the Word document.
  2. Click OK. Word will open with the handouts created.

Save a Powerpoint File as a PDF

  1. Click the File tab from the top menu.
  2. Click Save a Copy from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select the location you want to save it to.
  4. Name the file and select PDF (*.pdf) from the menu below the file name.
