Answer

The Library is not able to send items directly to students, but we can send them to other NWTC campuses and regional centers, as well as to other libraries. We are on the statewide van delivery system, so it is easy for us to send materials to your nearest public library if you request it through their interlibrary loan service.

You can use Library Search to find books and videos, place holds on items, and you are able to initiate an Intercampus loan to have items sent to the Marinette or Sturgeon Bay Campus or one of the Regional Learning Centers (Crivitz, Luxemburg, Aurora, Oconto Falls, or Shawano).

  • After performing your search, you can use the limit links on the left side to only see Books or DVDs, etc.
  • If you see the Request it button to the right of the item, you can ask for the item to be pulled from the shelf and held at the desk for you or sent to a different campus/regional center. If the item is currently checked out, you will be placed on hold for the item and will be notified once it has been returned and is available for you to check out.

If you need a book or video that is not in the NWTC Library Catalog or you do not live near an NWTC campus or regional center, you can request it through the InterLibrary Loan service at your local public library. Go to the public library's website and look for interlibrary loan instructions.
