Remember to update your personal email address and phone number in the my.NWTC portal. A personal email address or phone number is required to change your password in the event that you are unable to access your NWTC email.
If you changed your password and cannot remember it, any Library staff person can reset your password during our open Library hours, or you can follow the instructions below to reset them yourself from your mobile device or any computer with internet access:
To change your password:
- Go to https://pwd.nwtc.edu
- Enter your NWTC ID or SSN
- Enter your email address or phone number for a text message
- Check your email or phone, a one-time-use code has been sent to you
- Passwords must meet NWTC's password policy by being a minimum of 8 characters long, not containing your name or student ID number, and containing 3 of the following:
- Uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Lowercase letter (a-z)
- Number (0-9)
- Special symbol
OR
- Go to www.nwtc.edu, then click on Student Login
- Scroll down then find and click on" Reset your password" (in Supporting Technology Group)
- Enter your NWTC ID or SSN
- Enter your email address or phone number for a text message
- Click to send reset code
- Check your email or phone for the one-time use code.
