Onboarding involves several steps that students need to complete to make sure their personal and academic information is current and correct.
To complete your onboarding tasks:
- Go directly your Onboarding Task List or follow these instructions to find it through the Student Portal. Log in to the Student Portal using your NWTC ID number and password. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity. (Watch a short video about how to log in to your account.)
- Click on Workday.
- On the Workday homepage, go to the Awaiting Your Action section and click on Go to My Tasks.
- Complete all onboarding tasks. Tasks may vary by user. You may also see non-onboarding tasks appear here. If you have never completed onboarding before, you may see certain onboarding items multiple times, including uploading a photo, reviewing documents, agreeing to the payment agreement, and updating contact information.
- Select a photo to upload. Follow the guidelines/ recommendations on this page.
- Once your photo uploads, click Submit.
- Click Approve to move to the next task.
- Click the blue Review Documents button.
- Read the Payment Enrollment Agreement, click in the box next to I Agree, and click Submit.
- Review home contact information. Make any changes or add additional contact information by clicking Edit. Once all information is up to date, click Submit.
