Answer

NOTE: If you don't have an account, create an account. You will be asked to enter your name, personal email address, birthdate, and Social Security Number (SSN, optional but helpful). Click Next and answer the additional questions.

 

To apply to a program or certificate:

  1. Go directly to the Program List and skip to Step 4, or follow these instructions to find that list in the Student Portal. Log in to the Student Portal using your NWTC ID number and password. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity. (Watch a short video about how to log in to your account.) 
  2. Click the Apply to a program or certificate button in the middle of the page. If you do not see this option, click on Programs on the left side of the page.

  1. Click on Apply to a program or certificate.

  1. Search for the program or certificate or browse available programs.

  1. Click on the program or certificate name.

  1. Confirm that the correct program is selected. Click the red Continue button.

  1. Select the term you plan to start taking classes, then choose the location.

  1. Only terms with available classes are displayed.
  2. If a term is not listed, there are no classes available to start the selected program that term.

 

  1. Confirm that the selected program, term, and location are correct.

  1. Enter Academic Information and click Submit Application.
