Turnitin Draft Coach is a new tool that gives NWTC students access to Turnitin Similarity Reports, Citations Reports, and Grammar Guide directly in their NWTC Microsoft Word Online account.
Similarity Check shows if your writing matches text from other sources.
- Helps you make sure your work is original and not copied from someone else
- Highlights sections of your paper that match outside sources
- You can run a similarity check up to three times per document
Citations Check finds missing references or citations.
- Identifies any in-text citations without a corresponding reference on your Works Cited or References page.
- Identifies any reference that does not have a corresponding in-text citation.
- Does NOT correct the format of your references or in-text citations. Please see the NWTC Citation Guide for APA and MLA formatting rules.
Grammar Guide highlights grammar errors and suggests corrections.
It is available to all current NWTC students when logged in to Microsoft Word Online with your NWTC login. (Draft Coach cannot be used on the desktop version of Microsoft Word.)
