Use our online job board - Handshake

Find an internship, part-time, and full-time jobs submitted by employers who have an interest in hiring NWTC students and alumni.

You can search and apply for positions specifically targeted to your program of study. Once you create your free account, you can access the site from anywhere. Be sure to upload your resume and complete your Handshake profile so employers can also find you. Remember to check back often, as the site is continually updated with new opportunities.

If you’re a current student, faculty, or staff member, log in with your NWTC email.  Alumni: create an account to get started. Learn more at joinhandshake.com.

To set up your account:

  1. Current students and staff can access Handshake at joinhandshake.com. Single Sign On is set up for students and benefit-eligible staff, but you first need to create the account.

Click Sign Up to set up a Handshake account

  1. Follow the prompts. Select as much or as little info as you want.

    When you reach a screen that looks like the following, you have successfully created your account.

  1. After creating the account, log out. For students and staff, the next time you log in, use your NWTC log in and password. As alumni, you would have to choose 'Or log in using your Handshake credentials' as they will not have Single Sign On or a NWTC log in.
