Follow the process below to schedule exams that your instructor set up for your class. You can also watch the video instructions.
- Log in to Starfish or your NWTC Student Portal with your NWTC ID number and password. If you log in to your Student Portal, click Starfish Success Network on the home page. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity.

- Select the Assessment and Test Center tile.
- Select the NWTC location where your instructor has placed your exam (NWTC location is listed underneath the assessment examiner's name). Click on the three dots.
- Select the Schedule option.
- Select your date and arrival window. Click Continue.
- Click Add a Course to select the course for the exam. Click Save.
- Verify the location and arrival window.
- In the text box, provide any necessary additional information.
- Click Confirm.
- When complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
Hints:
- A valid photo ID is required when testing.
- Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes for your scheduled appointment.
- Your scheduled appointment will be your arrival window. (Please Note: This is not the exam time limit).
- Each exam requires its own appointment (even if you take them on the same day).
