NOTE: Summer students - Your process will be different than the steps shown below. Please go to student.nwtc.edu and follow the on-screen prompts instead.
- Log in to the Student Portal using your NWTC ID number and password. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity. (Watch a short video about how to log in to your account.)
- Click on Workday.
- In the Your Top Apps section, click on Academics Hub.
- On the Academics dashboard, under Planning and Registration, click on Find Course Sections.
- In the Start Date Within box, type in or select the desired academic year and session.
- In the Academic Level box, choose Post-Secondary for credit courses (English Comp, Accounting, Career Pre) or Continuing Education non-credit courses (CPR, Beverage Server, Motorcycle Rider)
- Enter the Course Name or Course Number you want to register for into the search box. Click Search.
- Use the filters to narrow down the course sections that match your preferences (locations, delivery mode, meeting days, instructional format).
- Click on a course section to view more details to ensure it fits your schedule and meets your requirements.
- Click the Start Registration button.
- Confirm your registration by reviewing the summary and clicking Register.
- Click on View Registered Courses to see the list of courses you are registered for.
- If you’d like to add another course, continue to Find Course Sections and follow the instructions in steps 4-12.
Additional Tips
- Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues, check for any holds on your account or prerequisites that need to be completed.
- Drop Courses: If you need to make changes, use the Drop option in the Planning and Registration area.
