Note: Spring and Summer 2025 students should apply by going to student.nwtc.edu, selecting Academics, and clicking on Petition to Graduation. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the form and click submit.

During your last semester, you will receive an email from Admissions & Enrollment that says you have completed or are enrolled in all the necessary classes to complete your degree. You will be directed to fill out the Application to Graduate form on the student portal.

When final grades are posted and you have successfully completed all of your classes, we will post degree information to your transcript and send your diploma about four weeks later.

Starting Fall 2025 - Completing the Graduation Questionnaire Request

  1. Log in to the Student Portal using your NWTC ID number and password. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity. (Watch a short video about how to log in to your account.)
  2. Click on Workday.

  1. Once in Workday, type Create Request in the search box and then click on Create Request in your results.

  1. In Request Type, type Graduation Questionnaire Request. click OK.

  1. Enter your desired names in the name field.

  1. Click Submit. This form can be completed multiple times.
