The NWTC Writing Lab is a coaching lab where you can get assistance with the writing process from strong students who have been successful in their writing classes. Students enrolled in credit-based courses can get help with topic generation, editing and proofreading, idea development, and documentation. Essays and documents, including resumes and cover letters, can be brought in for review from any NWTC course.
Writing Lab staff will NOT correct writing errors. They will only highlight reoccurring sentence-level mistakes and offer resources and exercises to strengthen self-editing skills.
