NOTE: Summer students - Your process will be different than the steps shown below. Please go to student.nwtc.edu and follow the on-screen prompts instead.

 

  1. Go directly to the Accept/Decline Awards page and skip to Step 5 or follow these steps to get there. Log in to the Student Portal using your NWTC ID number and password. You may need to use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity. (Watch a short video about how to log in to your account.)
  2. Click on Workday.

  1. In the Your Top Apps section, click Finances.

  1. On your Finances dashboard, go to the Financial Aid section on the right and click on Accept/Decline Awards.

  1. Select the correct Award Year and click OK.

  1. In the Decision column on the right, use the drop-down box to accept or decline a loan or work study (if applicable). Note: All grants are automatically accepted for you.

  1. If you want to accept a lesser amount, you first need to click Accept under the Decision, and then you can enter any amount equal to or less than the Amount Offered.

  1. Your offer must match for each semester. If you accept a loan for Fall, you will need to accept the same amount for Spring. Contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions.
  2. Once you have Accepted/Declined your offers, click OK.
