How do I cite an e-book?

Use the same format for both print books and e-books. Include a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), when it is available.
Basic Format:
Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (Year). Title of book: Subtitle words. Publisher Name. DOI

Basic Format for E-Book from a Library Database (such as Ebook Central and O'Reilly's Online)
Author. Title of Book: Subtitle of Book. e-book ed., Publisher, Publication Date.
Example:
