Answer

Students can reserve a study room one week in advance by visiting in person or by emailing, calling, texting, or chatting with a librarian!

Visit

  • Write your name on the sign up sheets outside of a study room in any campus library.
  • Limit of 2 hours per day (so that everyone gets a chance to use a room).
  • If no one is signed up for a room, go ahead and use it!  But sign up before walking in to prevent someone else from signing up while you are in there and asking you to leave!

Email

  • Email ask.library@nwtc.edu and indicate which campus you are on, the date and time you need a room, and how many people will be in the room.
  • The Library staff will reply to let you know which room is reserved for you (or if all rooms are booked at that time).

Call

  • For study rooms in the Green Bay Library, call 920-498-5493.  For Marinette's Library rooms, call Toni at 715-732-3647. For Sturgeon Bay's Library rooms, call Sally or Jenni at 920-746-4911.
  • Librarians will put you on hold while they check the rooms and sign up on your behalf (or reply saying all rooms are booked at that time).

Chat/Text

  • During Library hours, a chat box will appear on this page.  You can use it to make your request for a room.  Otherwise, you can send a text to 920-288-2275.
  • Please provide your name, which campus you are on, the date and time you need a room, and how many people will be in the room.
  • Once the library staff have checked availability, they will reply to you.
