Answer
If you are able to access the NWTC Library's subscription to Films on Demand, but cannot get any of the videos to play, you should first check with the administrator for the internet on your network to be sure that the videos are not being blocked. To preserve bandwidth, some IT departments at schools and businesses keep lists of which streaming services are allowed. You may need to ask your IT department to add Films on Demand to the list.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Login a different way. If you followed a link from an instructor to access Films on Demand, try to use the NWTC Library's Films on Demand link. If you are able to login through this link, then your instructor may need to update the link they have in their course.
- Try watching the video in a different browser. For example, if you are in Safari, try Chrome or Firefox.
- Clear the cache/cookies of your current browser. Be sure to close all active browsers and try again.
You can also submit support tickets directly to Films On Demand for issues.
