Answer

If you need a textbook for a course, we may have it in our popular textbook reserve collection at the Reserve Desk. An alphabetical list of 2-hour textbooks is available here. However, if you do not find the book you want, please recommend the title to the Library staff. They will consider it for purchase.

Currently enrolled students and staff can also request items, such as books and journal articles, through interlibrary loan using the databases WISCAT and WorldCAT for FREE! A librarian can also request items from other libraries for you. The process can take about a week, possibly longer, if the material is far away.

*Note: Please do not request materials that are 6 months old or newer. These items are not available through interlibrary loan since lending libraries give their own patrons access to these items first. Once the item is older than 6 months, you may submit a request.
