You can convert Microsoft Works and WordPerfect documents to Microsoft Word on any of the Library and Lab computers.

Open Microsoft Word.

Choose either Works (.wps) or WordPerfect (.wpd) in the open dialog box by clicking the down pointing arrow.

After the document converts to Word, save the document as a Word (.doc or .docx) file and also save the document in the word processor application you are using at home. This will allow you to work on the file at home and in Microsoft Word on campus.

Or, you can right click on the document and choose Open With>Choose default program> click down arrow by Other Programs>Microsoft Word.
