Answer

American Psychological Association, or APA, format is a style of crediting sources you use to write a paper.  This style is  used for research papers with medical or scientific subject matter.

Use our Citation Guide to learn how to cite sources in this style.

Click on the APA Style tab on the left side of the page.  Next select Creating a Reference Page, if that is your goal.  If you are creating in-text citations, select Parenthetical Citations.

On the same Citation Guide page, under the heading Citation Quick Links, Citation Builder and KnightCite Citatiion Service will help you create individual entries that you can copy and paste into your reference page.
