The Accuplacer is an academic test for admission, and eventually course placement.  It is valid for 5 years and costs $20 to take.  Payment can be taken at the Welcome Center or the Assessment Center.

NO Walk-Ins are allowed for initial Accuplacer (or TABE), so students need to contact the Assessment Center to schedule an appointment (800 422-NWTC (5427) or (920) 498-5427).  The TABE test is also administered if the Accuplacer scores require it.

Students need to bring a photo ID to the Assessment Center for testing.  All other materials are provided.  Calculators are used on one portion of the test, but the Assessment Center provides materials.

Visit the Assessment Center's web site for additional details - https://www.nwtc.edu/Admissions/Evaluation-and-Assessment/Assessment-and-Test-Center
