According to NWTC Policies, as well as the Student Handbook, unattended children are not allowed in any campus building.

"For their safety, NWTC asks that children be supervised at all times by a parent or other responsible adult.  Since children cannot be monitored and supervised by College staff, Campus Security will be notified of unattended children to ensure the safety of the children and to assist in locating a parent or guardian.

Children may not be left unsupervised in any college facility.  Children must not be brought to class. This is not an appropriate setting for children.

Students who must bring their children to the campus while transacting student/college business must keep their children within sight at all times and will be responsible for their behavior. Parents or guardians must be mindful of students and staff in close proximity and ensure that appropriate behavior is maintained."
