Can I save a computer document if I don't have my flash drive?

Yes.  On Library computers, you can save work (Save As) on your H drive (which is labeled with your student ID number).  This remains even after you log off.  You can now access your H drive from home too! Log in with the Virtual Desktop (https://www.nwtc.edu/about-nwtc/departments/iit/off-campus-software-access) application to access and save to your H drive at home!

A second option is to check out a USB from the Library Desk for 3 days. 

Another option would be to save the document/file to your Desktop and then email a copy to yourself.

NEVER save directly to the computer's documents folder. Once you log off the computer, any work that you had saved there will be gone.
