We are so glad that you asked!

The Library is happy to take any books or DVDs as donations.  Just bring them in, hand them to a librarian, and say that it is a donation.

Fiction books will be added to our Fiction Collection (where people can take books home and return them whenever they are finished).

Non-fiction books and videos will be evaluated to see if they meet our current needs.   Items that do not meet our collection development needs will be given to Better World Books.  This organization sells those books on our behalf and give a portion of the profits back to us to buy other books and a portion to the National Literacy Council to help provide books to underprivileged children.

If you require a receipt for your taxes, please let us know when you drop off the materials and give us your mailing address or email address.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide estimated pricing on the receipt.  We can simply state how many items you donated.

Thanks for thinking of us as you clean out your home or office!
