Can I eat or drink in the Library?

Yes!  Library patrons can eat and drink in the Library's reading and studying areas (provided that they leave their tables clean and do not damage any library materials). 

However, eating is not permitted by any computersDrinks with lids or covers are permitted, but must be used with care to protect the equipment. 

So . . .

  • Plan to eat your lunch in the Library as you prepare for that test. 
  • Drink that covered coffee or other highly caffeinated beverage as you type that late night paper.
  • Reserve a study room and organize a group cramming session with pizza.
  • Bring those study snacks (share the chocolate ones with the librarians!)
