You may earn college credit and apply it toward your NWTC degree if you successfully complete one or more national standardized exams. National standardized exams are test assessments that were developed by an outside organization, such as College Board. These exams measure how well you have mastered the content and skills of your course. Most of the national standardized exams have equivalencies with introductory college classes.

Some examples of national standardized exams include: Advanced Placement (AP) exam, CLEP exam, DSST exam, UExcel Excelsior Exam, GED (certain GED score is required). Fees for these exams may vary.
