The following resources can help you with your food needs:

  • NWTC's Shared Harvest provides 1 prepackaged bag of food per week for students.  Visit the Student Involvement office on the Green Bay campus in room SC118 (the Commons) to pick up the bag.

 

  • FoodShare is a government program that helps eligible low-income Wisconsin residents buy the food they need for good health. Apply for FoodShare in the Student Support Services office (SC133), online at www.access.wi.gov, or by calling 855-293-1822.

 

  • Food pantries—There are over 29 food pantries in Brown County alone. You can access a listing at www.adrcofbrowncounty.org or can get a printed listing by visiting SC133. The list also indicates where hot meals are served.

 

  • WIC program is a federally funded program that provides food vouchers for pregnant and nursing women and for children under the age of 5. Call these numbers for more information: Green Bay East side 920-437-8368, Green Bay West side 920-431-0243.
