Blended Learning requires both online learning and in-person meetings. These classes have required in-person meetings at various times throughout the duration of the class. In-person meetings could be face to face, video conference, or web conference. Please review the class meeting pattern found in my.NWTC for required meeting dates, as not all Blended classes have the same in-person meeting requirements.
If your Blended Learning class utilizes web conference for in-person meetings, students are required to interact with their instructor and classmates through the Collaborate web conferencing tool within NWTC’s Blackboard Learn system. Live class sessions are delivered by the instructor through an individual computer or device. Students will also need access to a high-speed internet connection, a microphone, speakers or headphones, and a web camera. Visit the following link for computer system requirements for web conferencing: https://nwtc.libanswers.com/faq/212938.
Class access begins on class start date. To begin, go to: https://blackboard.nwtc.edu - enter your username and password. If you are new to Online Learning at NWTC, orientation information is available on the Blackboard Login page. Click Resources and then Blackboard Learn Orientation.
